We have just released new versions of our products:

 

• WoltLab Suite 5.5.4
  
• WoltLab Suite 5.4.22
  

 

Stability releases (third part of the version number, also known as “patch releases”) aim to solve existing problems in the current version. Like every stability release, they do not introduce new features. It is strongly recommended to apply these updates.

Open your Administration Control Panel and navigate to “Configuration → Packages → List Packages”. Please click on the button “Search for Updates” located in the right corner above the package list.

• An incorrect link to the corresponding file was generated in the list of deleted versions. 5.5

• Removing all forums of a thread form now works correctly. 5.5
  
• Editing of threads with filled thread form which got additional fields works correctly now. 5.5
  
• Non-announcement threads that are incorrectly linked to multiple forum sections in the database, no longer show up in other forum sections. 5.5
  
• Marking all forums as read caused a faulty view. 5.5

• Lightbox is now available on mobile devices. 5.5

• The cronjob for maintaining the Elasticsearch search index now checks if Elasticsearch is the active search backend. 5.5

• The color picker now reliably saves the entered color when pressing " Return". 5.5
  
• Dialog boxes without the close button can now no longer be closed by pressing the escape key. 5.5
  
• When inserting quotes into the editor, it is scrolled into the view area. 5.5
  
• Fixed a bug with font processing when pasting text into the editor in Chrome. 5.5
  
• When copying boxes, display conditions are copied now, too. 5.5
  
• The accessibility of the file attachments dialog in the editor has been improved. 5.5
  
• Executing workers using PHP 8.1 no longer results in an error message. 5.5
  
• Email address rejection detection in usernames now only works if the username contains at least one dot. 5.5
  
• Rebuilding data via SSH no longer causes the guest permission cache to contain incorrect data, implicitly setting permissions to "No". 5.5
  
• When creating database tables, a ROW_FORMAT is now explicitly set to improve compatibility with old MariaDB versions. 5.5
  
• Fixed a bug in the search in Safari on macOS. 5.5
  
• For developers: Error handling in PHP DDL API was improved. 5.5
