Hi all

Windows 2008 server newbie so please be gentle. 5edb0e57020b7b53557583f5d0c9f0f3.gif.506e8a892485d8a0cb1e20d9db0edaed.gif

Hope this is appropriate for this forum - if not, apologies.

Have installed Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, no roles added yet, into an existing LAN of Win XP, Ubuntu server and Win 7 boxes.

The Windows Server can access the Ubuntu server and XP boxes but not the Win 7 boxes.

Suggestions please.

TIA

Simpler than you might think.

Server Control panel > User Accounts > Credential Manager > Add a Windows Credential

Fill in name, user name and password and OK
