Here's my simple formula for SEO. 1. Choose your topic based on the needs, wants, and pain points of your target audience. You have to "listen" to what they want before you know what they want. 2. According to Google AI these are the top rated forum software packages. I can somewhat agree with this. Discourse has gained traction and it doesn't surprise me it's number 1. phpBB has been around very long and it's free so I agree with that also. I typically engage my existing network for outdoor related forums. Everything else, I mix copywriting and social media promotion and schedule daily promotional posts for the forum. I'll also go to promotion forums and admin forums and utilize their promotion features. How about you all?
